BikePartPicker September Update: Groupsets, Brakes, and Sharing

There are more ways to put a build together in BikePartPicker. You can choose a groupset as a package, compare more parts, see where brake hardware belongs, and share your build when you want a second opinion.

Choose a Groupset or Build It Part by Part

You can now select a groupset as a package in the builder. Its included parts appear in the build, so you can see what the package covers before choosing the remaining components. The catalog includes Shimano, SRAM, and microSHIFT groupset options.

If you prefer to choose a crankset, cassette, controls, and brakes individually, that path is still there. Start with a frame in the builder, then compare the choices it shows for your build.

More Parts to Compare

The catalog has grown across frames, wheels, cockpit parts, drivetrains, and brakes. You will find frameset options from Niner, Cannondale, and Lynskey alongside additional wheel and component listings.

Put the Right Brake Part in the Right Place

Brake and rotor choices now make the front, rear, or full-set position clearer in the selector. That matters when a listing covers only one end of the bike, or when a front and rear setup call for different parts. You can inspect the position and the compatibility result before adding a candidate.

Share a Build for a Second Look

Build sharing now gives you a short build link, with a clearer flow on mobile for creating it and sending it. Send it to a friend or mechanic when you want a second opinion on your parts list.
